Welcome
Hart Jr. & Sr. High, students from Nazareth, Tulia, Dimmitt, Happy, Kress, and Friona will be assembled in the Hart High School Gym All students and adults receive a U.S. map listing 8 regions of the nation, plus instructions for the icebreaker activity |

Where Do I See My Future?
Students will receive an explanation, and then they will place themselves on one of eight regions of the U.S. (represented by placards on the gym floor)…indicating where students think they might live in the future With the help of a two facilitators in each region, students will process in small groups:
- Find someone you don't know and introduce yourself
- Discuss the question: "Why do I see myself in this part of the U.S. in the future?"
Students will return to the bleachers and sit with their new friends in their "region" they selected for their future |
