Leaders story
Group learns about leadership training

Rawlins County Home-Town Competitiveness members joined together with other HTC groups to evaluate current and past leadership trainings. Four states, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas, were represented at the Monday evening meeting at Burlington, Colo.

Attending from Rawlins County were Jenni and Chris Sramek, Dawn Hampton, Simone Cahoj, Mark Wolters and Mary Holle. A group from St. Francis also attended, providing insight to Cheyenne County's leadership training course. Attendees discussed the challenges and the benefits of leadership training. Scheduling, the different types of leadership and the type of people who should be involved and the three leadership areas of skills, attitudes and knowledge were also discussed.

Plans were made for another area training program this fall.
